As the site 1, the artgallery sandwich between two other buildings. So in front part, it is hard to make opening on side wall. because of that, I make opening area on the roof as the pictures show.

Location : 390 King St. Newtown Sydney
-Main facade Positioned in busy area of Newtown.

-Close to sydney Uni ; will attract many young views.
-Bohemian ambience ; would be numerous traveller who could go gallery.

- The building facing south ; Have opportunity to avoid any direct sunlight which could damage artworks.
- Easy to access for pedestrian.

-Location, height, type of neighbouring buildings.
-Sun paths.
-Overshadowing by neighbouring building & vegetation.
-Views (of the City, of vegetation, street life).
-Access (pedestrian, vehicular, disabled).
-Acoustic environment
-Materiality of neighbourhood (facades, paving).
-Overlooking of site by neighbouring building. -Wind direction
-Tree & vegetation.

Project2 : Room and Narrative - Pieter de Hooch's painting
Narrative :
A young lady is waiting for husband who was missing in action of war.
However, She still believes he is alive and must come back, so organise his books in the library
reads books he written. (He was a author, his hobby is collecting and writing and reading books.)
-In the building there are two huge library, reading and writing room. those room makes her feel sad and happy (coexistent).
